The 2020 Convention News

The U.S.A.R.D. Convention is returning to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Danbury, Ct, April 24 ~ 26 2020.
With our return to Connecticut we hope to bring more of the fine drummers from the New England and New York City area, we had seen in our previous conventions there.
Ideas for the makeup of the convention are now germinating and we are sure to have a great 11th Annual Convention. More information will be announced as it is available.
Kind Regards,
The U.S.A.R.D. Executive Board

Regarding: The passing of Nick Attanasio

It is with great sorrow that we share the news of the passing of, drumming great, Nick Attanasio at 8AM on Monday, November 19, 2018.  The U.S.A.R.D. and the entire drumming community is greatly saddened by his departing.  Mr. Attanasio touched so many lives in the drumming community and loved by his family and so many of his extended family of drummers.  We all convey our thoughts, prayers and condolences to the family.  Nick was a member of The World Drum Corps Hall of Fame and an Honorary Life Member of the U.S.A.R.D.

We do not have further information at this time on funeral arrangements, but we will be passing that along when we receive it.

Rest in peace old friend as God has blessed us with you long stay on this earth.
